# dvup

> dvup is a free bill-splitting app for iOS and Android. Scan a receipt with your camera, everyone taps what they had, and the app keeps the running balance for roommates, trips, and dinners — including who owes who and the shortest way to settle up. Guests can claim and pay their share from a shared link without installing anything.

Key facts: splitting, balances, and settling up are free with no cap on expenses. AI receipt scanning starts with 5 free scans, then a short ad earns another (about one a day); dvup+ ($2.99/month or $29.99/year) removes ads and the wait.
